Scarlet Cup Competition and Training

Overall Team development is the focus of this week of camp!

Players will gain a better technical and tactical understanding of roles and responsibilities within the framework of the team. Teams will prepare for scarlet cup competition by participating in daily college level training sessions led by top college coaches. A minimum of 15 players from the team must attend the session. All deposits and applications must be sent in together with a team contact name and phone number included.

Goalkeeper Camp - Offered in all camps

If you are looking for goalkeeper training, the O’Neill/Crooks soccer school is second to none. We have a great tradition of developing outstanding goal keepers here at Rutgers and our camp staff works to instill that drive and passion for learning into our camps. Our goalkeeper camp focuses on drills and training designed to elevate the play of each goalkeeper in the camp. It’s a highly competitive environment which consists of individual training, full scale matches and game-simulation drills, which provide a perfect balance throughout the week.

Important Information

We do our best to honor roommate requests. Please state your request clearly on your application and/or payment page.  If you do not have a request , assignments are made by similar grade. Should you have any problems during the week with housing, speak to our on-site director immediately. 

Keys will be issued to all overnight campers. We will require a $80 key deposit on the day of registration. Make the check payable to GCMO Girls Soccer School. THE CHECK WILL NOT BE DEPOSITED UNLESS THE KEY IS LOST. It will be returned when the room key is returned at checkout. We will supply a chain of some sort so the camper can carry the key with her at all times.

Returned Checks. A $20 fee will be charged for any returned checks. Your check will be re-deposited one time and any bank fees incurred by us will be passed on to you. Any remaining balance must be paid in the form of a certified check, money order or cash.

Paying the Balance.Don’t miss the June 1 deadline! If you do, you must bring payment in the form of cash, money order or a certified check the day of registration and you will be charged a $10 late fee. You may bring your copy of the Medical Form the day of registration. Please note, the form does not need to be signed by your physician.

Refunds. Any refund requested before June 1 will be in the form of a check minus a $25 handling fee. Any refund requested after that will be given in the form of a full or partial credit for next year's camp depending on circumstances. All refund requests must be submitted in writing.

Snacks.   Pizza will be sold in the evenings for $12 a pie. Campers generally split a pizza amongst themselves. Snacks will be provided via snack machines or the camp store. (Eliminated line here). Change machines will also be on-site. Campers are allowed to bring their own supply of drinks and snacks. We cannot supply ice.

Day Camper Facilities.    Day Campers and Extended Day Campers will be provided with a group room(s) that will be locked by our staff while players are on the field. They may use this room to rest, shower and to store their belongings.

Emergency Numbers. You will be provided with an emergency number when you register your camper. Use this number to contact our on-site director with any questions or concerns you may have. The number for 2008 camps is 732 445-7846.

Ground Transportation We provide ground transportation from Newark Liberty International Airport for a one-way fee of $25 or round-trip $35. Please call 732 445-7846 to arrange.
